Over 50 lawn and landscape professionals attended the 2019 MALCP Summer Seminar. This eager crowd asked many questions to our guest speakers at the day long event, only to break for a picnic lunch in Tower Hill’s garden and water pool area.
Speaker, Dr. Stephen Rich, a Professor of Microbiology and Director of the Laboratory of Medical Zoology, presented the topic of “Hazards and Risks of Ticks and Tick-borne Diseases.”
Speaker, Dr. Kerry Richards, an Educational Program Developer with the National Pesticide Safety Education Center, presented the topic of “Water Quality–Potential effects on pesticide applications” to an interactive audience.
